OTTAWA COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities continue to investigate a shooting in Minneapolis, Kansas.
Police responded just before 10:30p.m. February 11, to report of the shooting at a home in the in 2400 block of Mackenzie Street, according to Police Chief Frank Gent.
A 24-year-old man was injured, transported to Salina Regional Health Center and remains hospitalized, according to Gent. Investigators have suspect information and are continuing to follow up but have not made an arrest.
Investigators are following a few more leads in the case, according to Gent. "This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public." Name of the victim has not been released.

EMS transported the male victim to Salina Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities released no additional details on Friday afternoon including the name of the victim.
The public was never in any danger, according to Gent.
