HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The USD 308 Board of Education will meet Monday at 6 p.m. at the district’s Administration Center to review routine business, consider funding for childcare improvements and hold a study session on district facilities.
Superintendent reports and committee updates are scheduled before the board is expected to approve minutes from its Nov. 10 meeting.
One of the primary action items is a request for $110,000 in contingency funds to support ongoing projects at the Lil’ Hawks Childcare Center. The district is recommending approval.
Several superintendent consent items are also on the agenda, including the October 2025 treasurer’s report, a $525,278 rooftop unit replacement at McCandless, service provider assurances for the 2025–26 Parents as Teachers Bright Futures Program, an early graduation request, grants and gifts to schools.
The board plans to enter executive session for personnel discussion before taking action on the personnel report.
After regular business concludes, members will move to the curriculum lab for a study session centered on facility options across the district.
