TOPEKA — A bill to expand the area where alcohol can be sold and consumed on the Kansas State Fairgrounds and to change the way the tax money for those sales is distributed received initial passage in the Kansas Senate Tuesday, with a final vote expected today.
The bill advanced to final action on a voice vote. If passed today, it would need to go over to the House side next.
