RICE COUNTY — Local leaders are encouraging residents to share their input on housing needs as the county prepares to close its community-wide Housing Survey.

The survey, which takes less than 10 minutes to complete, is designed to give county officials a clearer picture of what’s working in Rice County’s housing market—and what isn’t. Whether residents rent, own, build, or hope to stay in the community long-term, organizers say every voice matters.

“This is your chance to be heard,” county officials said in the announcement. “Your feedback will help us create housing solutions that actually work—for you, your family, and your town.”

Survey responses will directly inform future housing plans and strengthen the county’s ability to compete for grant funding to bring improvements to local neighborhoods.

Officials stressed that participation is critical to shaping policies that reflect real community needs. “Every response gets us one step closer to the homes and neighborhoods our county deserves,” the announcement stated.

The survey can be accessed online at this link.

Residents are asked to complete it as soon as possible before it closes.
