Janice Cozart, 81, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge. She was born September 21, 1940, at Leola, South Dakota, the daughter of Albert and Edna (Lechner) Morrison.
Janice graduated from High School in Aberdeen, SD.
She was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Cozart on June 12, 1960. They shared 58 years of marriage. He passed away on July 15, 2018.
Janice was a member of United Methodist Church of Moundridge. She loved reading, knitting and sewing.
Janice is survived by her two sons, Kenneth and his wife Ruth of Honey Creek, IA, Craig and his wife Michele of Olathe; brother, Dale Morrison (Nancy), Sheridan, WY; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Richard Wilber.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at the United Methodist Church of Moundridge. Burial will follow in Mound Township Cemetery. Friends may call from from 3-7:30 p.m. at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2021.
