
Judy Lozoya, 63, died unexpectedly Jan. 14, 2021, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 6, 1957, in Hutchinson, to Placido Louis and Lucille (Mendoza) Delgado.
Judy worked in long-term care her entire life, starting out as a Certified Nursing Assistant before becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. For over 30 years, she cared for residents residing at Good Samaritan Society- Hutchinson Village, Wesley Towers Retirement Community, and most recently, at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson. Judy devoted her life to caregiving for her residents, but her number one priority was her family.
On Oct. 15, 1981, she married Manuel Lozoya, in Guymon, OK. They enjoyed 39 years of marriage.
Judy is survived by her husband, Manuel; children, Reyna McAllister (Jason), Jessica Lozoya, Jose Lozoya, and Alexander Lozoya (Amanda); mother, Lucille Delgado (Alvizo); sister, Louise Bright; brothers, Daniel, Valentine, David, Christopher, Louis, Jr., John Robert, Thomas, Michael, and Rojelio; grandchildren, Tiera, Alicia, Jade, Dayton, Raven, Aspyn, Juliana, Andrea, Dominic, Gabriel, Christian, Kayleb, and Jocilyn; great-grandson, Ezra; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Manuel; one sister, Teresa; and nephews, Valentine and Jesse.
Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at Elliott Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.
