
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Chapter of the NAACP is holding their monthly meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Nunnemaker Room of HCC's Student Union.
In lieu of a guest speaker, time will be held for open discussion regarding Expungement Project Hutchinson.
Online applications are required.
Anyone with eligible convictions from Reno County, Kansas can apply online anytime between now and May 13th at 5 p.m. for expungements.
All applications will be reviewed for eligibility. If your application is chosen and you qualify you will be notified in late May. The cost for expungement is approximately $200 per conviction to be expunged. It is possible, but not guaranteed, that these fees may be waived as a part of this project or depending on your household income.
All restitution ordered by the Court must be paid before an expungement will be considered as a part of this project. No exceptions can or will be made.
