KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals received bad news on Friday morning, as first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino has been placed on the Injured List with a broken right thumb.

Pasquantino is hitting .262 with 19 home runs and 97 RBI this season.&nbsp;
