HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man is accused of rape and kidnapping and will have his next court appearance next week.
51-year-old Tyrone Eugene Carter had his initial appearance before judge Daniel Gilligan Friday.
Carter is accused of holding a 15-year-old runaway from Wichita against her will, drugging her and having sex with her.
He was booked into jail just after 2 p.m. Thursday and is being held on $175,000 bond.
