The Hutchinson Monarchs won over the Sunflower Seeds in the first game of what was planned to be a doubleheader Thursday night at Hobart-Detter 11-4. Ryan Stuempfig got the win for the Monarchs, with a solid performance from Aaron Haase to close things out.Game two was suspended due to rain. There is talk of finishing game two at 5 p.m. tonight at Hobart-Detter with the regularly scheduled game at 7 p.m. We'll have the 7 p.m. contest with live video and audio on Hutch Post.In other Sunflower League action, Rose Hill beat Cheney last night 10-5.
