SYLVIA - Michael Edward Brennan, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, Oct 6, 2021 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, KS. He was born in New Orleans, LA., the son of Edward Francis Jr. and Billye (Harris) Brennan. As a kid, Michael loved BMX, football, track, making model airplanes and cars, and crabbing and fishing with his father. Michael graduated from Clark High School, Las Vegas, NV in 1983. He had an interest for aviation and airplanes. He worked for Hughes Aviation and then moved onto working for KB Homes in Las Vegas.
Michael became a resident of Kansas in 2008 to be closer to his mother, sisters and niece. He loved spending time with friends and family, and also giving on Christmas to his niece. He also enjoyed classic rock, playing guitar, history, watching the National Geographic channel, cooking, antiquing, collecting hot wheels among other things. He was very generous and funny and will be missed by many. Michael is survived by his sisters, Mary Brennan, Las Vegas, NV, Cynthia (John) Castro, New York City, NY; and his niece Summer Brennan, Kansas City, KS. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Michael's Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20 at Sylvia Cemetery.
