Georgia Lee Pierson passed swiftly into the arms of the Lord on March 11,2022, at the age of 92. She was born on August 3,1929, to Carroll and Mildred Robinson.
Georgia married Gibbo Pierson on April 22,1947, after three months of courtship. They shared 75 years of marriage.
Georgia, together with her husband, ran a leather shop, Gibbo’s Saddle and Leather, out of their home for 65 years. In later years she enjoyed volunteering at the HRMC gift shop. In addition to leather crafting, Georgia was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed doing various needlework projects, crocheting, and reading. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and in 1947, she joined a national women's motorcycle club, The Motor Maids. Her last ride was in 2017, at age 88. Georgia was a dedicated wife and mother, creating a loving Christian home for her family. After raising their daughters, Georgia and Gibbo enjoyed many years of traveling the world together.
Georgia is survived by: her husband; two daughters, Bonny Pierson and Bunny Dellinger; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; brother, Mike Robinson; and sister, Corliss Stinbrink.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; son-in-law, Ed Dellinger; brother, Jack Robinson; sisters, Donna Tull, Karen Robinson, and Carlene Wiens.
