Roxanne L. Boldt Wheatley passed away July 4th, 2022, in South Carolina.
She was born March 31, 1947, in Hutchinson KS. Roxie married Kenneth Wheatley on April 22, 1966. Ken served in the Air Force, so they lived in many places but spent several years in Hutchinson and Wichita, KS.
While in Hutchinson Roxie worked in the Reno Co. appraiser’s office and was elected as Reno Co. Clerk. She also worked at the Hutchinson Clinic in the billing department and as a patient advocate in oncology.
Ken and Roxie attended Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. After retirement they settled in the Rock Hill / Fort Mill area of South Carolina. Roxie volunteered with the Red Cross, Palmetto Free Clinic, Fort Mill Food Bank, Lutheran Feed the Hungry and Fort Mill Community Café.
Roxie will be missed by many but especially her husband Ken, daughters Denise, Keith and Heather Norman (Warren) and grandchildren Conner, Trevor, Brianna, and Haiden.
