KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs bolstered their offensive line Sunday by acquiring rookie offensive tackle Diego Pounds in a trade with the Baltimore Ravens. Kansas City sent Baltimore a 2028 sixth-round pick as part of the deal.

Pounds, who spent the last two seasons as Ole Miss' starting left tackle, was ranked as the No. 12 offensive tackle in the 2026 NFL Draft. Pounds is a 6-foot-6, 325-pound offensive tackle, and appeared in 28 games (with 24 starts) during his time with the Rebels, allowing just two quarterback sacks.

Despite that performance, however, Pounds went undrafted and signed with Baltimore as a free agent. He was impressive during the preseason, too, as he allowed a grand total of zero pressures across 26 pass-blocking snaps at left tackle.
