Spagnuolo has been the Chiefs’ defensive coordinator since 2019 and has helped them win three championships. He has been a defensive coach, assistant or coordinator for much of his 43-year coaching career aside from a stint as the St. Louis Rams head coach from 2009-11.
The Chiefs ranked second in yards per game allowed and points allowed in 2023.
