HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas State Fair has announced a family-focused entertainment event for the final day of the 2026 fair, bringing a Disney-inspired concert experience to the grandstand.

Kansas State Fair General Manager Bryan Schulz said the fair has partnered with Disney to present DCOM Live, a high-energy tribute concert celebrating music from popular Disney Channel Original Movies.

The show is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. in the Kansas Star Casino Grandstand.

According to Schulz, the 90-minute production will feature music from Disney favorites including High School Musical, The Cheetah Girls, Camp Rock and Hannah Montana.

"We decided we wanted to do something a little different this year," Schulz said. "It's about 90 minutes of all the music and entertainment that you remember from Disney back if you were growing up in the early 2000s."

The concert is being promoted as a special event for children and families, although Schulz noted it is also expected to appeal to adults who grew up watching Disney Channel programming.

The show will serve as the closing grandstand event of the 2026 Kansas State Fair.

Ticket options include reserved seating or standing room near the stage for $30. Unlike many concert events, those purchasing standard tickets will have access to the area in front of the stage, allowing fans to sing and dance close to the performers.

VIP standing deck tickets are available for $60 and include food and beverage options. Premium table seating for groups is also being offered.

Schulz said the earlier start time was chosen with families in mind.

"It's a great opportunity for people to come out and do something fun," he said. "We haven't done a show for the kids for quite a while."

The announcement comes as preparations continue for the 2026 Kansas State Fair, which opens On Sept. 11. The fair concludes Sept. 20.
