PRATT COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7a.m. Wednesday in Pratt County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Buick Rendezvous driven by Beaumont J. Lowe, 55, Pratt, was southbound on U.S. 281 at Southeast 60th Street. The driver failed to yield to traffic and swerved to miss noncontact vehicle. The Buick traveled off the roadway to the east came to a rest in a field.
EMS transported Lowe to Pratt Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
