HUTCHINSON—Three people had minor injures after an accident just before 9:30a.m. Saturday at the Prairie Skies Air Show in Hutchinson.&nbsp;

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1962 Beech 23 Fixed Wing Single Engine airplane piloted by Dallas Arthur Hewett, 63, Wichita, attempted to take off from Hutchinson Airport.&nbsp;

The aircraft had a power failure in the engine and stalled out. The pilot attempted to land and made a hard landing in the wheat field just south of the airport.

The KHP reported&nbsp;Hewett and two passengers&nbsp; Samantha Leonor&nbsp;Dagorret, 29, Wichita, and Maxton W. Susee, 9, Hutchinson, had minor injuries.&nbsp; The KHP did not report where they were treated. The accident remains under investigation.
