Elfreda Fast, 104, passed away May 2, 2022 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro. She was born July 2, 1917 in Meade, to Abe and Katie (Gaede) Penner. She married Chester Fast June 1, 1941 in Ingalls.
Survivors include: sons, Dale (Ruth) Fast of Chicago, Illinois, Steve (Janice) Fast of Wichita; daughters, Janet Van Houten of Rapid City, South Dakota, LaVon (Randy) Sperling Lincoln, Nebraska; 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor Jeremy Matlock and Pastor Steve Fast.
