HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The 43rd Avenue bridge project is going forward.
According to an email Monday from Reno County Public Works, in addition to the closure of 43rd from Old K-61 to just west of Lucille, now Old K-61 is closed from 56th to 43rd until further notice to all through traffic.
The total project is due to take well into 2021, or even early 2022 before it's done.
