
MCPHERSON COUNTY —A McPherson County man died in an accident just after 10a.m. Sunday in McPherson County.
The McPherson County Sheriff reported a GMC Acadia driven by 47-year-old Tawny O'Hara of Galva was attempting to make a left turn onto Comanche from 22nd. A Honda motorcycle driven by a 65-year-old Terrance Regehr of Galva attempted to pass the SUV.
The motorcycle struck the driver's side of the Acadia. Moundridge EMS provided lifesaving aid to Regehr but he was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the Sheriff's office. O'Hara was not injured. The sheriff's office released no additional details.

Authorities responded late Sunday morning to a fatal accident near 22nd and Comanche in McPherson County.
The McPherson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies were on the scene around 11:00 a.m. and advised travelers to avoid the area while roads were closed.
By 11:55 a.m., officials reported that the roadway had been reopened to traffic.
The accident remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time. The Sheriff’s Office said further updates will be provided as they become available.
