HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County took another step to finding a new director for the Health Department on Friday.
County Administrator Randy Partington said interviews with the two finalists went well and said both were strong candidates.
Partington says that some things need to be looked over before a recommendation can be made to the County Commission. Partington hoped to have the recommendation for the board as early as Tuesday’s meeting, but said the announcement won't come until the commission meeting next week.
The new director will replace Nick Baldetti, who recently left the Health Department for a new job at McPherson College.
