Thursday night is the 29th Annual Empty Bowl chili feed at Reno Valley Middle School.
Students from Reno Valley Middle School and Nickerson High School art classes learned about types of clay and made the bowls in class for the fundraiser.
The chili supper will be at Reno Valley Middle School, which is located at 1616 Wilshire Drive in west Hutchinson. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. with Panthers Got Talent beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The cost of the chili feed is a free will donation. You will get chili, pickles, crackers, and cookies that were provided by the PTA at the school. When are finished, you get to select one of the bowls created by the students.
The canned vegetables for the chili were collected by the students and the staff at Reno Valley will be cooking the chili.
Proceeds from the chili feed will go to benefit the Christian Soup Ministry here in Hutchinson.
