Goessel - Linda Bartel, 100, passed away August 16, 2021 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.
She was born November 4, 1920 to Abraham S. and Kathrina (Buller) Reimer in Goessel. She married Melvin Bartel November 12, 1942 in Goessel. Survivors include: son, Roger (Fern) Bartel of rural Hillsboro; daughter, Janice (Rick) Hoefer of rural Marion; 6 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by: husband, Melvin Bartel in 1984; son, Gilbert Bartel in 2005; daughter, Tamara Bartel-Beason in 1987.
Celebration of Life service 11:00 a.m. Saturday. August 21, 2021 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor Tom Harder. Committal service 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Lehigh Mennonite cemetery rural Lehigh. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
