Jerry Michael Huston, 82, of Hutchinson, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Legend of Hutchinson. He was born March 3, 1939 in Hutchinson, the son of Floyd and Mary (Mulchay) Huston.
He graduated from Haven High School with the class of 1957.
Jerry was a member of the Medora Community Bible Church and a former member of the Haven Baptist Church.
He was united in marriage to Shirley Jean Lambert on March 14, 1959 in Haven.
He was employed by Dillons for forty-two years. He also crafted wood items.
Jerry is survived by his; sons, Doug (Mercy) Huston of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Tracy (Vicki) Huston of Hutchinson; daughter, Kimberly (Russ) Goering of Mustang, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Katie (Brad) Stohr, Amy (Joe) Ackerman, Shawn Huston, Haley (Eli) Heidebrecht, Jason Huston, Rachel (Jonathan) Hollingsworth, Angelica Huston, Kenton Goering and Kevin Goering; twelve great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Frances (Jim) Fredericks of Yorba Linda, CA; and three sisters-in-law, Jessie Huston, Kay Huston, and Dorothy Huston.
He was preceded in death by Shirley, his wife, his parents and his brothers, Don Huston, Earl Huston, and Billy Huston.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 7, 2022 at Medora Community Bible Church. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 6, at Ott Funeral Home, Haven.
