Linda Jane Algrim, 79, of Hutchinson, died April 4, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1942, in Stafford, to Leonard and Marie (West) Ellis.
Linda graduated from Rolla High School in 1960, and then attended Adela Hale Business College. She worked in the Reno County Courthouse as a secretary for public works. Linda enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and playing card games. More than anything she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
On February 12, 1961, she married Alfred Morris Algrim, in Hutchinson. He passed away on November 21, 2005.
Linda is survived by: daughter, Lori Sanchez (George), Littleton, Colorado; sons, Gary Algrim (Lori), Nickerson, Clint Algrim (Kristina), Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren, Tyler Algrim (Kim), Sara McGray (John), Ashley Clifford (Jason), Chase Algrim (Jessica), Amanda Mancillas (David), Matthew Sanchez (Alyssa), Kaisha O’Riordan, Kelsie O’Riordan, Kaneesha O’Riordan, Kassidy O’Riordan; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Myrna Jones (Jim); and brothers, David Ellis (Chris), Gus Ellis (JoAnn), Mick Ellis (Sherry).
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Alfred; and great-grandson, Alejandro Mancillas.
Funeral service will be 10 am Monday, April 11, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Tim Adrian officiating. Burial will follow in Peace Creek Cemetery, Stafford County. Friends may call from 1 to 8 pm on Sunday, with the family present from 2 to 4 pm, at Elliott Mortuary.
