
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Council will hold two meetings on Tuesday.
The first is because the legal notice for the budget related hearings went out with a 9 a.m. time on it, even though the regular meetings are moving to 5:30 p.m.
Therefore, in order to fulfill legal requirements, the budget hearing is at 9 a.m., with a Resolution to levy a property tax rate exceeding the Revenue Neutral Rate also on the morning agenda.
The afternoon agenda will include approval of the Downtown Hutchinson Rod Run as a special event, bond approval for a series of Hutchinson projects in the amount of $4.34 million, along with the approval of general temporary notes in the amount of $1.615 million.
The City will also look to approve an ordinance to replace the 16th and Baker bridge, look at approval of the SRF loan agreement for water distribution improvements.
There will also be proclamations for National Hispanic Heritage Month and National Recovery Month.
The Hutchinson City Council meets at 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
