HARVEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 9a.m. Thursday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Ford F600 driven by Andrew Tyler Williams Andrew, 30, Vallley Center, was westbound on U.S. 50 one half mile east of Ridge Road. The driver had a medical emergency. The vehicle traveled off the roadway, through a KDOT fence and came to a stop in a field.
EMS transported the driver to Newton Medical Center. A passenger was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
