
KINGMAN COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Tuesday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Chevy Spark driven by Keibyn Mijares Mendoza, 20, Wichita, was westbound on U.S. 54 just east of K14. The car struck a deer that had already been struck and was laying in the roadway. The driver lost control of the ar. It traveled into the ditch north of the highway and came to rest on the passenger side.
EMS transported Mijares Mendoza and a passenger Caterine Quintero Romero, 24, Wichita, to the Kingman Healthcare Center. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
