HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Public Library announced Friday that The Friends of the Hutchinson Public Library are back in the building,

The Library says the Friendshop Book Store is open and they are holding a sale throughout the month to get rid of a large backlog of books that accumulated after the store was closed due to the pandemic. The library says they can’t accept any more donations at this time because there’s no room  to store them.

The library also says that the Children's Fall Virtual Programs start next Friday, October 2.

The library will post storytimes, puppet plays, shadow puppet plays, and more every Friday from October 2 until November 27. A list of the virtual programs will be available on the library website and Facebook page.
