HUTCHINSON – Hutchinson City Manager Jeff Cantrell announced today that David Sotelo has been hired to serve as the City’s interim Human Relations Officer.
Under the supervision of the City Manager, Sotelo will be responsible for administering the Human Relations Ordinance pertaining to anti-discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations in cooperation with the Human Relations Commission.
Sotelo currently serves as the chairperson for the Human Relations Commission, a position he will step down from while serving as the staff liaison for the City of Hutchinson. Sotelo’s first day is December 1.
