SEDGWICK COUNTY —A man accused in a home invasion sexual assault made his first court appearance Wednesday.

Antonio Riley, 38, from Oklahoma is charged with rape, aggravated criminal sodomy, attempted aggravated criminal sodomy, and aggravated burglary, according to the Sedgwick County Attorney's office.

Just after 10:00 a.m. March 4, police were dispatched to report of a sexual assault  that occurred at 1500 block of West Pawnee in Wichita, according to officer Paul Cruz.

Upon arrival, officers contacted a 21-year-old female victim who reported an unknown suspect knocking on her front door. When the victim opened the door, the suspect produced a knife and forced his way into the residence, and sexually assaulted her. The victims left the residence and called 911 for help. The suspect was described as a black, male, 5-foot-10 inches tall, approximately 200 pounds and bald.

On March 7, police located and arrested Riley, according to police Lt. Christian Cory. He remains jailed on a bond of $200,000, according to the district attorney. His next court appearance is March 25.
