We hope to find more answers about bird flu that is damaging the poultry and dairy industry.
That's because researchers from the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine got a grant from USDA to work on avian influenza projects.
They're focus will be on trying to find out how it's transmitted, and hopefully slow the effects of the disease on dairy herds.
There have been 68 confirmed cases in humans with one death from the disease.
