Inman community celebration is Saturday

INMAN, Kan. — The Inman Chamber of Commerce and the Inman Museum are hosting an Independence Day and Harvest Celebration on Saturday, June 29 in Inman. Below is the schedule of events.

7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Pancake breakfast at Inman Senior Center
9 a.m. Parade line up begins in Lambert Park
10 a.m. Parade down Center and Main Street
11 a.m. Lunch at local restaurants
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Inman Library StoryWalk Dedication in Lambert Park with free sandwich sack lunch
Noon to 2:30 p.m. Disc golf closest to the pin competition
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Axe It Up trailer in Lambert Park
1 p.m. Turkey Red Winter Infield Harvest (along K-61 Highway)
1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Vendor Fair
1:30 p.m. Basket Auction for Ellie Mae Weathers at Community Building
3 p.m. Lions Club Fishing Derby Registration begins
3:30 p.m. FFA Cornhole Tournament for a cause at Zoar
4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Lions Club Fishing Derby
5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Food Trucks in the Park
5:30 p.m. FFA Pulled Pork benefit meal for Ellie at Zoar
