MCPHERSON POLICE DEPARTMENT
Due to the winter weather conditions, effective Feb. 18th, at 5 AM, the McPherson KS Police Department has enacted an Emergency Accident Reporting Plan (EARP).
For collisions/accidents, other than hit and run, those involving personal injury, involve alcohol or drug impairment, or where vehicles need towing, the McPherson Police Department will NOT respond in person, unless requested. When there is another vehicle involved, both drivers are responsible to move their vehicles off the roadway and exchange contact and insurance information, noting the date, time, location (address or intersection).
Any driver involved is responsible to file a report at https://tinyurl.com/McPherson-EARP within 48 hours of any collision/accident which qualifies for EARP.
When EARP is no longer in effect a notice will go out to the public.
Please be safe if you have to leave your house today.
Thank you for your cooperation with the implementation of the Emergency Accident Reporting Plan (EARP). If you have any questions, please call the McPherson Police Department at (620) 245-1200.
