Kathy’s life began on February 20, 1950, in Wichita. She was the daughter of Garland and Agnes (Larson) Kane.
Kathy owned and operated Kathy’s Diner in Peabody. She loved the outdoor whether it was camping, fishing, or hunting. Kathy’s loving family includes her children Tony (Sherry) Paquette of Peabody, and Mark (Kerry) Paquette of Howell, MI; grandchildren Brent (Ashley) Paquette, Austin Paquette, Thomas Paquette, and Brooke Paquette; great grandchildren Delilah, Skylar, Holden, Wess and Waylon; brother Mike Kane of Augusta and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy passed away at her home on Tuesday May 3, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Thomas and eight siblings. Her family will gather with friends on Sunday May 8th from 2 -4 p.m. at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Marion where her funeral service will be held on Monday May 9th at 1 p.m. Kathy will be laid to rest in Kechi Cemetery.
