Preston - Delbert Eugene Kessler, 75, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Hutchinson Regional Healthcare. He was born September 12, 1946 in Pratt, KS to Admiral Dewey and Ruth (Pinkston) Kessler. He married Nici Ann Snyder on June 4, 1966 at Coats, KS, she survives.
Delbert served and retired in the Army National Guard in Hutchinson, KS for 25 years. He was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church in Iuka, KS.
He is survived by his wife, Nici; daughter, Annette (Earl) Marquardt of Dwight, KS, sons, Delbert Eugene (Dona) Kessler II of Abbyville, KS, Gregory Scott Kessler of Pratt, Jason A. (Laura) Kessler of Montana, grandchildren, Kristina Akue of Omaha, NE, Thomas Ugene (Desirae) Kessler of Elk City, KS, Christopher James Kessler of Pratt, Jacob Kessler of Lane, KS, Shyanne Rocholle Kessler of Nickerson, KS, Travis Kessler of Abbyville, KS, Cody Alan Kessler, Miranda Jane Kessler, Ty Rope Kessler of Montana. Dylan Dwayne Akue, Breana Marie Akue, A’Riyal Rose Kessler of Omaha. Toby Eugene Kessler, Naomi Alyvia Kessler, Paislea Shea Kessler, Riggin Thomas Kessler, Jason James Kessler, Bentley Jay Kessler, Reyna Elizabeth Rochelle Kessler and Karson Eugene Kessler all of KS. A brother, Ronnie Kessler. Sisters Paulette (Steve) Kennedyof Mississippi and Patty and Teresa.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt from 9:00a.m. - 8:00p.m.. Funeral service will be Friday, October 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Iuka United Methodist Church with Pastor Louis Keeling presiding. Burial will follow at Iuka Cemetery, Iuka, KS.
