LeWayne Edale Tresner, 58, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Hutchinson Medical Center. He was born on October 14, 1962 in Garden City to Lee and Lenora (Sharp) Tresner. LeWayne married Rebecca (Torson) Tresner on April 16, 1987 in Scott City, Kansas. They were married for 34 years.

LeWayne worked as a Tool Pusher in the oilfield for Sterling Drilling and Southwind. He enjoyed plants, fishing, hunting with his brothers and watching sports. He was a very humorous man and loved to give everyone a hard time especially his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; sons, Tyler Tresner of Wichita and Joshua Dearden of Iuka; brothers, Leon Tresner of Wichita and Lee Tresner of Texas; sisters, Norma (Jim) White of Virginia, Noralee Bertholf of Dodge City and Nona Tresner of Garden City; and grandchildren, Zachary Dearden and Bella Dearden both of Pratt, Tristen Dearden of Pretty Prairie, Veronica Tresner, Adrian Tresner and Cruz Tresner all of Pratt.

LeWayne is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dustin Ray Dearden; brothers, Leland Tresner and Les Tresner; twin sister, Natalie Tresner; brother in-laws, Phil Bertholf and Freddy Valverde; and sister in-laws, Kathy Tresner, Rose Tresner and Mary Tresner.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary with Pastor Mike McGovney presiding. Inurnment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
