Senators from three different states want the Trump administration to help level the playing field for dairy farmers.
Right now, trade talks continue between Canada and the U.S., because Canada has not lived up to international trade agreements, including the U.S.-Mexico-Canada agreement.
They have prevented American producers from supplying Canadian markets, and all the while, were exporting Canadian dairy products at artificially low prices into the United States.
