Hutchinson CC Sports Information
With the intense heat wave lingering well into next week, the Hutchinson Community College women's soccer team's next two games have already altered their start times to protect players, coaches and fans.
The Blue Dragons (1-2) are scheduled to play No. 5 Iowa Western on Friday at the Salthawk Soccer Complex. That kickoff has been pushed back 90 minutes to 7:30 p.m. The original kickoff was 6 p.m.
Then next Wednesday, the Blue Dragons play their KJCCC opener at Barton. Kickoff for that matchup was pushed back 3 hours to 11 a.m. at Cougar Field, which is located on the campus of Barton Community College in Great Bend. The original kickoff was 2 p.m.
Highs in south-central Kansas are expected to be at 100 or higher through next Thursday, September 10.
