Racing contract on November Fair Board agenda

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The finalizing of the 2025 agreement for racing at the historic half-mile at the Kansas State Fairgrounds is on the agenda for the Kansas State Fair Board at their meeting on Tuesday.

Also on the agenda is an update on the assessment from the Department of Homeland Security after several new measures were put in place for the 2024 Fair.

The Board will also go into executive session to discuss the review of General Manager Bryan Schulz.

There will also be alcohol sales authorizations for a series of events at the 1861 Club over the next several months.

The Kansas State Fair Board meets Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Kansas State Fair Administrative office and on Zoom.
