HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Even though Reno County is in the orange zone according to the county's gating criteria, Haven USD 312 is still in person learning as of Monday in anticipation of a special school board meeting Tuesday night.
"You make plans that are adaptable and changeable and sometimes you change them for good reasons," said superintendent Clark Wedel. "Sometimes you need to revisit them and make sure that's where everybody's at. We're just going to try to get everybody on the same page."
Even though school board meetings have typically been available online, Tuesday's will not be.
"It's going to be at Haven High School in our library," Wedel said. "It will not be Zoomed this time. Typically, our regular board meetings have, but in short notice, we just can't work that out this time around."
The meeting will be Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.
