HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man arrested three years after he shot another man is set for sentencing Wednesday in Reno County District Court.
Maique Rodriguez-Faudoa was originally charged with attempted first-degree murder in the May 2017 shooting of his uncle, Jesus Faudoa.
Rodriguez-Faudoa entered a guilty plea Oct. 8 to lesser charges of aggravated robbery and robbery.
Jesus Faudoa was found shot multiple times in the 700 block of East 7th Avenue. Rodriguez-Faudoa then took the victim's cell phone and pickup. He was arrested in El Paso, Texas, earlier this year and brought back to Reno County.
