KANSAS CITY — The Royals made a trade for two pitchers from Seattle and gave up first baseman Carlos Santana and cash.
Right hander Wyatt Mills will be optioned to AAA Omaha. Fleming will be assigned to High-A Quad Cities.
Vinnie Pasquantino is being called up to the big leagues, while Ronald Bolanos has been designated for assignment.
