Lynne M. Amey, 73, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson. Lynne was born on September 17, 1948, to Eugene and Mildred (VanDeHey) Sobieski in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She graduated in 1966 from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, WI and later graduated from Front Range School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and graduated in 1998.&nbsp; Lynne worked for the Hospice of St. John in Lakewood, Colorado for 9 years.&nbsp; Lynne was profound in her Christian faith.&nbsp; She loved nature and animals.&nbsp; Before becoming a nurse, she talked about becoming a forest ranger but felt it was her calling to care for the sick and dying.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Carol McGaffey. Lynne is survived by her two daughters, Veronica (Jim) Amey-Perrin and Lynnette S. Amey; brother, Michael Sobieski, sister, Mary Humphrey; cousin, Mary Jo Holly and six step grandchildren. There will be no public visitation as cremation was chosen.&nbsp; A small private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.&nbsp; &nbsp;
