Patti Sue Foster, 59, died August 3, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1963, in Hutchinson, to Edwin Harley and Gloria (Barnes) Foster.
Patti graduated from Nickerson High School in 1981, and attended Hutchinson Community College and McPherson College. She worked for over 25 years as a customer service representative for the Dillons Food Store at 5th and Adams. Patti enjoyed scrapbooking and watching The Young and Restless, General Hospital, and Desperate Housewives. She was a member of Mitchel Chapel United Methodist Church.
Patti is survived by: her husband and companion of over 35 years, John Peoples of Hutchinson; daughters, Harleigh Foster of Wichita and Sydney Foster of Hutchinson; siblings, Nancy Terrill and Mike Foster (Amy), all of Hutchinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and her four-legged friends, Zoey, the dog and Spooky the cat.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Jim Terrill and David Peoples.
Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church, 5512 N. Pennington, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Sue Talbot officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign her book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
