Hutchinson – Florence L. Carlson, 80, died April 7, 2022 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born September 2, 1941 in Moundridge, KS, the daughter of Clifford and Marie (Koehn) Becker.

On June 4, 1960, Florence married Donald Yingling in McPherson, KS. He died April 26, 2000. She later married Vernie Carlson on January 4, 2003 in Hutchinson. He died on July 3, 2005. Florence worked for Wesley Towers as a CNA and in transportation and retired after 25 years. Florence enjoyed cooking, painting, reading and gardening. She also enjoyed collecting angels and recently had an interest in watching hummingbirds. Florence was a member of 10th Ave. United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald Yingling and Vernie Carlson; a step-son, Rex Carlson; a grandson, Jake Kinney; a sister, Francis Ricks and a brother, Jimmy Becker.

Survivors include her three sons, Randy (Becky) Yingling, Steven (Rhonda Guerrero) Yingling, and Robert (Charlotte) Yingling; a daughter, Debra (Jeff) Slack; step-daughter, Jo Carlson; step-son, Max Carlson; four sisters, Carol, Juanita, Bertha and Nina Koehn; three brothers, Frank, Freddie and Lawrence Becker; twenty two grandchildren, Cody Yingling, Justin Bacon, Chelsey Goodrich, Natasha and Austin Thrash, Tiffany, Trevor, Taylor, Trey and Brayden Yingling, Casey, Crissa, and Coree Yingling, Daisy and Jeff Kinney, Tammy Kallback and Donnie Rowley, Dustin and Billy Bearden, Krista Spady, Ashley and Mathew Slack; 16 great grandchildren, Ryder and Daxton Yingling, Ainsley, Case and Lane Bacon, Aurra and Evelyn Goodrich, Brailee Green, Jayleigh Brylneigh, Kai Teter, Kyler Gillespie, Jr Rowley, Colt, Karter, William and Keylon Bearden, Cale Schaefer and 3 on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. Burial will take place at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2022, at Hutchinson Funeral chapel. Memorials may be given to Hospice House and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
