HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hospice and Homecare of Reno County is looking for volunteers on Flag Day, June 14 to drive their own cars in a reverse parade of sorts where people make a drive by visit to local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Parade participants will be meeting in the parking lot at the Trade Center located at 1600 N. Lorraine in Hutchinson.
If you are available and interested in participating, please plan to arrive by 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday the 14th at the Trade Center. You can decorate your vehicle, play music, dress up, or whatever suits your personality.
All cars will need to be in line to leave by 9:45 a.m. Two groups will leave at 10 a.m. One group will make stops in Hutch, the second group will make stops in Hutch & South Hutch.
