A flurry of last-minute candidate filings ahead of the June 2 noon deadline has finalized the list of local races for Reno County’s 2025 election cycle — but no race drew enough candidates to require a primary.
According to the Reno County Clerk’s Office, all city council, school board and local office contests will move directly to the general election on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Residents planning to vote in the November general election must ensure they are registered. The deadline to register or update voter registration information will be announced closer to the election, but voters are encouraged to check their status early through the Kansas Secretary of State’s website or the Reno County Clerk’s Office.
