RENO COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Tuesday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Peterbilt semi driven by Nicholas B. Sampson, 41, Murdock, Nebraska, was northbound on Kansas 61 making an eastbound turn onto 30th Avenue. The semi's trailer crossed the center line and struck a 2024 Ford F150 driven by Chad B. Harris, 54, Hutchinson, who was in the turning lane on 30th Avenue to Kansas 61 South.
EMS transported Harris to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Sampson was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
